Hello, :iconacidshadow: here! We felt bad leaving you all in the dark, so here is some art we found in our pile of sketches that we thought worthy to upload. We're currently working on animation and 3D models to be rigged, and these are bigger project sections, so it'll be a little while before there is enough to show off.

This is just some ideas for showing off the backgrounds of the world. The beauty of the odd-world game sis the environments.so since we're doing thsi in the old 2D style, an interesting background is a must. Most of the concepts here will probably not come to light, they're just to give us an idea of how we can play with the background and the different moods we can display.

Until then, more will come!

Sligs and Oddworld belong to Oddworld inhabitance.

wow, this looks really good to me!
I love the industrial levels of the games so much more then the native ones... And you get them really well!
Great work! ^^

Thank you! I think the industrial levels gave you more to look at, but the nature ones felt very serene.

Looking good, even from these sketches you've really managed to capture the essence of Oddworld :la:

Glad to hear it! I have a couple more I may upload soon after some cleaning up. We're thinking about playing with Point of views and what is in the foregrounds and backgrounds.

Ooh sounds great :la: I'm looking forward to seeing more concepts, and even a 3D model or two when you're all finished with them XD
